DVon Dudley is done letting speculation control the narrative, especially after seeing the wrong people dragged into something they had nothing to do with.
On Episode 54 of Devon & The Duke, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the fallout from earlier comments where he spoke about experiencing racism during his WWE career. Because he didnt initially name the person involved, online speculation spiraled. Many assumed he was referring to John Laurinaitis or Michael Hayes. DVon made it clear that neither man was involved and that the mischaracterization hurt real people. He explained that part of his frustration came from seeing innocent names get attached to something they didnt deserve.
DVon went further and actually defended Laurinaitis, explaining that he played a supportive role during a critical point in his career.
As the conversation continued, DVon confirmed that the person he was referring to in his original racism story was Jim Ross. While he didnt revisit every detail of that experience, he made it clear that the speculation damaged people who didnt deserve to be associated with it.
For D-Von, setting the record straight wasnt about stirring more dramait was about protecting those who didnt deserve the backlash and finally putting the truth on record.
What do you think about D-Von naming Jim Ross in this context? Does this change how you view WWEs backstage history? Sound off belowwe want to hear your take.
