According to Programming Insider, the episode averaged 627,000 viewers on The CW Network, up from 604,000 viewers the previous week. In the crucial P1849 demographic, the show posted a 0.10 rating, an increase from 0.07 on the December 30 episode. Tuesdays show was the annual NXT New Years Evil event.

Jacy Jayne also successfully retained her NXT Womens Championship against Kendal Grey by using the numbers game. This and many other moments took place throughout the night.
