There are a lot of rivalries going in the pro wrestling world, and there are just as many ways to send a message. The Hardy Boyz are no strangers to having targets on their backs, and this situation is no different.

The Hardys crossed paths with The Righteous again on this weeks episode of TNA Impact. This continued a storyline that has centered on control, disruption, and refusal to engage on normal terms.

Earlier in the night, The Righteous addressed their actions after abducting Matt Hardy, offering more cryptic comments about their latest fixation on the TNA World Tag Team Champions. Instead of issuing a challenge, Vincent and Dutch framed the situation as something beyond matches or titles. The two obviously want a piece of Matt and Jeff Hardy.

The Hardys later interrupted the segment to shut down the talk. They told The Righteous they were not interested in mind games and made it clear they wanted a fight. The confrontation stopped short of physical contact, as The Righteous backed away while The Hardys stood at the top of the ramp.

The situation has escalated outside of Impact. During tonights ACW show, The Righteous were shown mocking The Hardys by jacking a few of their signature moves. That included the Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb. This was not lost on fans at all who understood why they did it.

The footage adds another layer to the story. The Hardys have already challenged The Righteous to fight on Impact, but the team has refused. Now, with the mocking going very public and incredibly intentional, the focus shifts to when The Righteous will finally step into the ring on The Hardys terms.
