Jannik Sinner seemingly addressed his doping ban in his year-end message to fans as the world No. 2 admitted that "some lows were difficult to accept" in 2025.

The Italian tennis star kicked off his 2025 season by successfully defending his Australian Open title.

A couple of days later, it was announced that Sinner settled on a three-month doping ban with the WADA and that he would be suspended between February 09 and May 04. The settlement came just before the former world No. 1 was due to appear in front of a CAS judge.

After returning to tennis in May, Sinner won his first Wimbledon title and captured back-to-back ATP Finals titles. Also, the Italian finished as runner-up to Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open and US Open finals, as well as lost the Year-End No. 1 battle.

Overall, it was still a strong season for Sinner, considering that he won two Grand Slams and improved to four Majors overall.
