Iga Swiatek took to Instagram to reflect on her 2025 and admitted that winning Wimbledon "changed my already extraordinary life" as the Pole once thought making it all the way at The Championships was "far too distant."

For the Polish tennis star, the 2025 season was quite something.

In the first part of 2025, Swiatek didn't win any titles - not even during the clay swing, where she usually dominates. And after the Pole suffered her first French Open defeat since 2021, there wasn't much belief that she could quickly turn around her situation.

But then, a miracle happened for Swiatek. Firstly, the Polish tennis star made her first grass final in Bad Homburg before losing to Jessica Pegula. Then, the 24-year-old went on to win her first Wimbledon title and end her 13-month title drought.

It is not a secret that grass was widely considered the former world No. 1's weakest surface. But there, she completely changed her 2025 season.

Now, the six-time Grand Slam champion is ready and excited for the new challenges in 2026.

Swiatek: I fulfilled dreams that at times felt too distant... Now, bring it on 2026

"Oh 2025, where do I even begin? Probably with the fact that I was healthy, happy, and surrounded by amazing, supportive people - and without that, its hard to ask for more. I'm lucky to be in this place," the 24-year-old wrote on Instagram.

"I fulfilled dreams that at times felt far too distant. These were moments and milestones I will never forget. Without hesitation, I can say that winning Wimbledon changed my already extraordinary life. I also learned important lessons and experienced a few difficult moments, but thats the wheel of life. We experience, we reframe, we move on.

"I step into 2026 with a smile, determination, and the feeling that the best is yet to come. Thank you all for the support and positive energy that are a huge part of my motivation for what I do. See you soon! Bring it on 2026."

Swiatek will now try to win her first United Cup title with Poland before she switches her focus to collecting her maiden Australian Open trophy.
