Despite being at the center of some of All Elite Wrestlings most emotional storylines, Hangman Adam Page doesnt view himself as the companys leading man.

In a recent interview with Uncrowneds Cameron Hawkins, Page responded to earlier remarks made by Matt Jackson, who had called him always supposed to be the main character of AEW. While flattered by the sentiment, Page made it clear he doesnt carry that mindset.

Page also reflected on one of the biggest moments of his careerhis AEW World Title win over Jon Moxley at All In. Even then, he said, it didnt feel like the spotlight was solely on him.

Hangmans second AEW World Championship reign lasted 133 days, during which he defeated top-tier opponents including MJF, Jon Moxley, Samoa Joe, Kyle Fletcher, and Lee Moriarty before dropping the title back to Joe in a steel cage match at Full Gear.

While fans and colleagues may see Page as AEWs emotional centerpiece, the man himself seems more focused on the work than the narrative.

Do you think Hangman Page has been AEWs true main character all along? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
