WWE Superstars can sometimes be on the run of their lives, but then an injury will rip the rug out from under everything. This was certainly the case for Chad Gable, because he was El Grande Americano, but then he was sidelined in sudden fashion.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Chad Gable could be returning to WWE television soon. It was not noted exactly when that will be, but there is an expected date, so the light seems to be getting bigger at the end of the tunnel.
Chad Gable has been out of action for several months due to a shoulder injury, which impacted WWEs creative plans during the summer. He had surgery, but he has been working hard on his return to the squared circle.
It also reported that Gable has been training at the WWE Performance Center as he prepares for an in-ring return. The current expectation is for Gable to be back by the Royal Rumble, with a chance that he could return before the event.
During his absence, WWE assigned the El Grande Americano gimmick to Ludwig Kaiser, a situation that is expected to be addressed when Gable returns. The El Grande Americano character now has a stable around him. So, it will be interesting to see how Gable fits back into the picture.
