Despite swirling WWE return rumors, Chris Jerichos status for AEW Worlds End appears to be locked inand he wont be there.
AEWs final pay-per-view of the year, Worlds End, takes place December 27 at 7 PM ET, but Jericho has made it clear hell be otherwise occupied that night. The former AEW World Champion announced that hes reviving The Winnipeggers, his long-dormant YouTube show, for a live broadcast at 9 PM ETright in the middle of the PPVs runtime. Jericho tweeted:
While it hasnt been officially confirmed whether The Winnipeggers will stream live or be pre-recorded, the timing strongly suggests Jericho will not be at AEW Worlds End in any capacity. AEW sources havent listed him for any creative involvement, and he hasnt appeared on AEW programming in months following his ROH World Championship loss to Bandido in April at AEW Dynasty.
This news comes as rumors intensify around a potential WWE return in 2026 for the veteran star. But for now, it looks like Jericho is staying clear of AEWs year-end event.
Does Jericho skipping Worlds End hint at deeper creative issuesor is it just a break from the spotlight? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you want to see him next.
