The rapper first grabbed attention by flirting with Jade Cargill on social media, which quickly became part of an on-screen angle. AEW aired footage of Jade and her Baddies confronting Bow Wow at one of his concerts, teasing what looked like the start of a potential feud. But the angle was abruptly dropped, and fans were left asking: What happened?
On AEW Unrestricted, RJ City admitted he was the one who unintentionally started the whole thing and explained why it quickly fell apart.
RJ said the angle had a chance to take off until Bow Wows promo killed the momentum and it all fizzled out.
