Matt Riddle isnt afraid of big namesand he just claimed hes better in the ring than Brock Lesnar.
Speaking with Shane Douglas, the former WWE Superstar got real about how he stacks up against other fighters-turned-wrestlers. And when it came to Brock Lesnar, Riddle didnt mince words. He believes Lesnar may be a beast in combatbut he lacks the versatility that makes Riddle the more complete performer.
The King of Bros said that unlike many MMA stars who come to pro wrestling and rely on sheer force, he brings storytelling, vulnerability, and depth to his matchestraits he believes fans actually care about.
He also made it clear he never wanted to copy Lesnars style or reputation. Instead, he wanted to be someone newsomeone who could take wild bumps and still make it feel real.
Riddle says thats why his wrestling style always went beyond just power moves and toughness. He grew up a fan and wanted to perform like the guys he watchedtaking major bumps, big spots, and still telling a story.
He closed it out by making his argument plain: hes not just another MMA guy who crossed over. Hes the one who did it betterin his eyes, better than most.
This isnt the first time hes been vocal about Lesnar. The two had a real-life backstage encounter at the 2020 Royal Rumble, where Lesnar grabbed Riddle and told him to keep my f***ing mouth shut after Riddle publicly called him out for a match.
Love him or hate him, Matt Riddles confident hes got the skills that set him apart from stars like Brock Lesnarand hes not backing down from saying it.
