Leila Grey has confirmed that she tore her ACL during her TBS Championship match against Mercedes Mon on the December 6 episode of AEW Collision.

Grey took to Twitter and opened up about the injury and revealed that while the injury sidelined her from wrestling, she still managed to compete in a major fitness event and win, injury and all.

Grey explained that the injury couldnt have come at a worse time. She had been preparing for her debut WBFF show for a full year, and her AEW Collision match against Mon was a huge opportunity. But she refused to give up on either.

While people expected her to drop out of the competition, she decided to power through it and got the job done while wearing a knee brace.

Grey ended her tweet with a thank you to her supporters and a reminder that this is only the beginning of her fitness career.

Now set for surgery, Grey will be sidelined from the ring for the foreseeable futurebut shes already shown shes not slowing down in any other area. Grey may be injured, but shes proving theres no quit in her. With a torn ACL and a new Pro Fitness title in hand, Grey is turning a setback into the start of a brand-new chapter.
