Ric Flair is returning to The Joe Rogan Experiencebut this surprise booking has a little help from someone you might not expect: John Cena.

Just after trying to quiet backlash over his disputed comments about Hulk Hogans death, Flair announced hes heading back to Rogans podcast, vowing to address everyone who has an issue with him. While Flairs return to the mic is grabbing headlines, a new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that Cena indirectly played a part in making it happen.

According to Meltzer, Cenas own appearance on Rogans podcast didnt just serve as a personal spotlightit helped open the door for more WWE names, including Flair.

Flair confirmed the news himself on X, making it clear this wont be a laid-back catch-up. Hes walking into Rogans studio with a chip on his shoulder.

Flair has been under intense scrutiny following comments where he suggested Hogan may have used street drugs before his death. Hogans widow, Sky Hogan, and multiple family sources have strongly denied those claims. Flair later claimed he was only repeating what he had heard, and posted a supposed message of support from Sky Hoganbut the strange formatting of the note raised more questions than it answered.

Now, with Rogans massive platform and unfiltered format, Flair has the chance to speak freelyand possibly fan the flames even more. This isnt Cena personally vouching for Flair, but his push for more WWE representation on Rogans show clearly paved the way. And in classic Flair fashion, hes ready to use the opportunity to go on the offensive.

Will Ric Flair use the moment to clarify the truthor stir up even more heat? Share your thoughts in the comments and let us know if youll be tuning in to see what the Nature Boy has to say.
