The WWE Womens United States Championship is days away from its one-year markbut theres one stat that stands out: it still hasnt been defended on a single Premium Live Event.
Thats rightdespite multiple title changes and some fast-paced drama, every defense of the Womens U.S. Title has taken place either on SmackDown, NXT, or Saturday Nights Main Eventnever on a major WWE pay-per-view.
The title was first introduced in late 2024, with Chelsea Green winning the inaugural tournament final on December 14th. Since then, its changed hands five times across three different brands:
- Chelsea Green won the vacant title by defeating Michin on Saturday Nights Main Event (Dec 14, 2024).
- Zelina Vega took the belt from Green on SmackDown (April 25, 2025).
- Giulia dethroned Vega in Saudi Arabia (June 27, 2025).
- And Chelsea Green won it back in just 95 seconds against Giulia on SmackDown (Nov 7, 2025).
Yet none of these title switches have been showcased on a PLE stage. Not one. That includes major events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, and Survivor Series.
This lack of PLE representation has left many fans questioning WWEs commitment to giving the Womens U.S. Title a spotlight equal to its male counterparts. Its even more surprising given the popularity of stars like Chelsea Green, Zelina Vega, and Giuliaall of whom have fanbases ready to rally behind a big-time title match on a PPV card.
With Chelsea Green once again holding the gold, the question is whether WWE will finally give the belt a chance to shine under the PLE lightsor if itll remain a TV-only championship for the foreseeable future.
Why do you think the WWE Womens United States Title has never been defended on a PLE? Should WWE make it a priority in 2026? Sound off in the commentswe want to hear your take.
