In the guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the world No. 1 talked about various topics, and at one point she referred to something that annoyed her during matches.
Fallon asked if she was aware of her grunts or screams during the performance. The Belarusian tennis player pointed out that she is well aware of everything, but she also cannot control such things.

Apparently she would like the microphone to be turned off every time she hits the ball.
I have zero control over it, said Sabalenka.
One time, I played an exhibition with Novak [Djokovic], and they put a mic on me.
I realised that I was grunting and Im like, Oh my god, thats so bad for people.
We need to offer earplugs to them!
I dont want to annoy people. I wanted to take off the mic, but I think they shut the sound off on the mic when I was hitting the ball.
