\Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide confirmed the exact debut date via Twitter this week. Not only will the show air live, but its coming packed with star powerfeaturing the likes of Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Vikingo, Mr. Iguana, Dragon Lee, Rey Fenix, Penta, and El Grande Americano.
The move officially kicks off AAAs exclusive broadcast deal with FOX Corporation, which was first announced earlier this year. Starting in 2026, FOX will become the new media home for AAA across Mexico, Central America, and South America (excluding Brazil). But now, the launch is happening ahead of schedulewith a bang.
Under the multi-platform deal, AAA programmingincluding massive shows like Triplemaniawill be accessible through the FOX pay TV channel, Tubi (free with ads), and FOX One, FOXs subscription-based streaming service.
Rey Mysterio, who famously launched his legendary career in AAA, called the new deal a full-circle moment for lucha libre.
The January 17 debut also marks the first major crossover moment since WWEs acquisition of AAA through its partnership with Mexican entertainment group Fillip. WWE exec Patrick Dooley explained the bigger picture behind this deal.
