LA Knights rough couple of weeks on WWE TV isnt a burial its part of the plan. According to BodySlam.net, WWE still sees Knight as a top babyface and is preparing to go all-in on him in 2026.

The report also notes that WWE isnt ignoring the fan reactions quite the opposite. The company is said to be fully aware of how loud the support is and wants to let it build organically.

That long game hasnt been easy to watch. On the December 5th episode of SmackDown, Knight lost to GUNTHER in the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament despite the #WeWantLAKnight hashtag trending on Twitter just 90 minutes before showtime. Fans were fired up, but GUNTHER walked away with the win.

Things got even worse on the December 8th edition of RAW. Knight faced Logan Paul in the main event but was outnumbered thanks to interference from Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and the masked man. Paul picked up the win, but the real damage came after.

Breakker hit a spear. Reed followed up with multiple Tsunami splashes. Knight told officials he wasnt done but Paul and Reed werent done either. They ambushed him backstage, powerbombed him through a table, and then Reed crushed him again with a Tsunami splash on top of a car. The car alarm went off as Adam Pearce frantically called for medical.

On television, LA Knight may be losing more, but backstage, the story is very different. WWE seems to be slow-building a redemption arc one where Knight overcomes the odds and reaches a whole new level in 2026. So its clear that his current involvement with The Vision is only going to raise his profile further.

Is WWE playing it smart with LA Knights long-term build or should they pull the trigger now? Let us know in the comments how youd book The Megastar heading into 2026.
