JeVon Evans is staring down the biggest opportunity of his young careerand he knows exactly what it could mean. At just 21 years old, Evans is the youngest star in WWEs Last Time Is Now tournament, and the irony isnt lost on him. When John Cena won his first championship in 2004, Evans hadnt even been born yet.
The first hurdle? A massive one. Evans will go one-on-one with Gunther this Monday on WWE RAW in the opening round. And if he can somehow run the table, the reward is Cenas final match everset for December 13.
Speaking with Cameron Hawkins of Yahoos Uncrowned, Evans reflected on the surreal nature of possibly closing out Cenas career:

Whether he wins or loses against Gunther on RAW, Evans isnt done yet. The very next night, hell team with Leon Slater at NXT Gold Rush to challenge DarkStateDion Lennox and Osiris Griffinfor the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Evans is putting himself in position to make WWE history, and hes doing it with the same headband and dream that started it all.
