Emma Raducanu seemingly had a great time celebrating her birthday with friends as the British tennis star expressed her gratitude to everyone who made sure to make it a special day.
On Thursday, Raducanu turned 23 years old. After going out for dinner with friends, the world No. 29 took a couple of pictures and later shared them on Instagram. In the first post, the Briton could be seen with a meal in front of her, with a birthday postcard being attached next to it as well.
"Grateful for my 23 trips & having the best friends/family. Thank you for all the bday love," the 2021 US Open champion captioned her Instagram post.
Raducanu giving herself some rest after a tough end to 2025
For the most part, Raducanu stayed healthy throughout 2025 and it was a positive season for her. But late in the year, illness and injuries prevented her from accomplishing her Asian swing targets. After retiring in Wuhan and also losing in the Ningbo first round - she looked unwell in both tournaments - the Briton decided it was time to call it a season.
Since then, Raducanu has been enjoying some nice off the court but also recovering from the issues that plagued her in Asia.
In early January, the top-ranked British female tennis player will kick off her 2026 season by representing her nation at the United Cup.
"I'm honored to be able to make my United Cup debut in January. Being able to play for Team GB with my team-mates is a unique opportunity and week to enjoy. It's great to be able to experience a new format on the tour, represent my country and spend a couple extra weeks in Australia," Raducanu said in a statement when announcing her United Cup participation.
