Jannik Sinner is through to the semi-final at the ATP Finals for the third straight year. The Italian bested Ben Sehtlon 6-3, 7-6 in the final round-robin match, completing the first stage of the competition without losing a set for the second straight year.

The Italian will face Alex de Minaur in Saturday's semi-final. Jannik defeated Ben for the eighth time in a row, providing two breaks in the opening set and prevailing in the second to emerge at the top.

The home favorite had the upper hand behind the first and second serve. He denied the only break point he faced and kept the pressure on the other side. As usual, Shelton struggled behind the second serve.

He got broken two times in the opener and served better in the second set. The American saved a match point in the tenthgame before experiencing two mini-breaks and propelling the favorite over the top.
