AJ Styles wants one more match in TNA before he calls it a career in 2026but hes not holding his breath. The Phenomenal One just made it clear that WWE probably wont allow it, and hes coming to terms with that reality.
While speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Styles responded to Mike Santanas open challenge for a match in a TNA ring, possibly for the World Championship. And while Styles admitted hed love to do it, he doesnt believe WWE will ever let that happen.
He understands Santanas passion and the desire to wrestle someone like him before its too late.
Even though WWE and TNA currently have a working relationship, Styles pointed out that only NXT talent has been involved so farnot main roster stars.
Styles also joked that if anyone on the main roster should be allowed to break that rule, its himbut he knows thats wishful thinking.
With retirement looming and fans begging for one last TNA appearance, AJ Styles is stuck between what he wants and what WWE will actually allow. Whether or not that dream match happens is still a mystery.
Do you think WWE should make an exception and let AJ Styles wrestle one last match in TNA? Who should he face? Sound off in the comments.
