Wes Lee is wasting no time getting back to business after being released by WWEand hes doing it with style. The former NXT standout is already reinventing himself on the independent circuit, starting with a major image overhaul.
In a new Instagram story, Wes Lee revealed hes brought back his signature dreadlocks that became a defining part of his pre-WWE persona. Teaming up with his longtime stylist Dreadsmatic, Lee showed fans the entire transformation process as he reattached 74 dreadlocks using the crochet method. The process took 12 grueling hours to complete.
As the final look came together, Lee didnt hold back his excitement, declaring, Ooooooh!! We back!
During the latter part of his WWE run, Wes Lee had shaved his head and moved away from the look that made him stand out during his time in The Rascalz. That change never quite connected with fans, who felt it dulled his aura in the ring.
Now going by his original indie name, Dezmond Xavier, the former North American Champion is officially taking bookings. His return to the independent scene has fans hopeful that hell climb his way back up and make some serious noise on his own terms.
