Rhea Ripleys Survivor Series future is officially up in the air after suffering a nasty injury during WWEs tour of Japan.
The former Womens World Champion broke her nose while teaming with IYO SKY against The Kabuki Warriors and hasnt appeared on Monday Night RAW since. With the premium live event less than three weeks away, her participation in the Womens WarGames match is in serious doubt.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE may already be preparing to move forward without her.
If Ripley isnt cleared in time, WWE reportedly plans to fill her spot with Vaquer and could reshape the entire WarGames lineup.
Ripleys injury occurred when she attempted to catch IYO SKY during their match in Japan, but the move went wrong as SKY was thrown over the top rope and crashed straight into Ripleys face. After the show, Ripley shared a graphic image of her broken nose on social media, confirming how serious the damage was.
The injury couldnt have come at a worse time for WWE, with Survivor Series looming and Mami still one of the companys biggest stars. If she cant compete, her absence will leave a major hole in the womens division and shift the momentum heading into the WarGames storyline.
Do you think WWE should hold out hope for Rhea Ripleys return, or should they move forward without risking her health? Share your thoughts in the comments and let us know how youd book the Womens WarGames match if she cant make it.
