John Cenas retirement tour may be about to get even bigger. With the Survivor Series Premium Live Event set for November 29 in San Diego, new reports suggest that the 16-time World Champion could step inside the WarGames cage for one final showdown.
Ibou of Self Made posted on Twitter that Cena will indeed be part of the chaos, writing, John Cena is working War Games. Shortly after, Cory Hays of BodySlam added more fuel to the story, saying the idea has been on WWEs radar for a while. Been discussed for a few weeks, Hays shared.
According to earlier reports, the internal plans for the mens WarGames match reportedly involve a reunited Bloodline teaming up with CM Punk. The babyface side was listed as CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Usowith one mystery spot still open. If those plans hold, Cena could very well be that fifth man.
With only a handful of dates left on his farewell tour, Survivor Series could serve as Cenas last-ever appearance at the eventand competing in WarGames would be the perfect way to close that chapter.
John Cena in a WarGames match alongside CM Punk and The Bloodline? Thats a recipe for history.
