D-Von Dudley isnt holding back anymoreand now hes taking direct aim at AEW President Tony Khan and QT Marshall, calling their behavior disrespectful and accusing them of flat-out lying about his involvement with the company.
On the Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer made it clear he never agreed to produce anything in AEW and blasted the narrative that he fell asleep while waiting to meet Tony Khan. According to D-Von, the only thing AEW gave him was hours of wasted time and empty promises.
D-Von recalled traveling to multiple cities for meetings, only to be left waiting in catering or backstage until late into the night. He described a 23 a.m. meeting with Tony Khan in Montreal after flying in that morning and barely getting any sleep.
A third meeting in Orlando brought more of the same. D-Von said he was treated like a f***ing young boy and waited outside Tonys office until the early hours once again.
D-Von also said Tony Khan showed him a photo of himself as a teenager holding up a sign at an ECW show, professing to be a longtime fan. But that didnt change how D-Von felt about the disrespect.
At this point, D-Von said hes got nothing left to prove and doesnt care what Tony or anyone at AEW thinks of him. His loyalty lies with WWE, where hes happy with his Legends contract.
He made his stance crystal clear.
D-Von didnt stop there. He doubled down on his dislike for QT Marshall and dared him to step up in person.
After everything hes been through, D-Von isnt interested in playing politics or pretending things are fine. His experience with AEW was messy, and according to him, completely avoidable.
D-Von Dudleys truth bomb landed hardand it doesnt look like hes walking this one back anytime soon.
What do you think about D-Von Dudleys story? Do you believe AEW mishandled the situationor was it just a breakdown in communication? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
