WrestleMania is headed back to Las Vegasand this time, WWE is cashing in big. For the second straight year, Allegiant Stadium will host the Show of Shows, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is ready to spend serious money to make it happen.

According to a new report from LV Sports Biz, the LVCVA board is planning to approve a $6 million payout to WWE to support WrestleMania 42 in April 2026. The decision will be finalized at the next board meeting on Wednesday, November 12. The agency, funded through hotel room taxes, regularly invests in large-scale events to drive tourismand rarely gets any pushback when writing these kinds of checks.

The meeting agenda spells out why the LVCVA is so eager to pay WWE:

Along with the massive two-night WrestleMania event on April 1819, WWE will also bring Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World, and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to the Stripplus community events across Southern Nevada.

LVCVA CEO Steve Hill has made it no secret that hes all-in on bringing WWE back to town. He previously praised the economic value of the event, which drew global fans and packed out Vegas hotels.

While WWE is set to profit, fans are already groaning over ticket prices and sky-high hotel rates for WrestleMania weekend. Even so, WWEs grip on Vegas isnt loosening any time soon. This marks the first time since 1989 that a city has landed back-to-back WrestleManiasproving WWEs draw is worth every dollar to the citys tourism board.
