Ridge Holland isnt just dealing with a foot injury since he has nagging neck issues as well and now it appears Holland might be getting a spinal fusion surgery eventually.
While speaking on TMZs Inside the Ring, Ridge Holland explained that he has been dealing with neck issues for a long time, something that comes with years of wrestling and physical activity.
Holland aggravated the injury in the ring and had planned to get imaging done, but when he injured his foot and needed surgery, that became the priority. Because of that, the neck issue was temporarily set aside.
Now that he is already out of action, he followed up on the neck imaging. The scans showed that his neck is in rough enough condition that he may be a candidate for a spinal fusion procedure.
Holland is currently trying to find a doctor in Florida who can perform the surgery. Holland noted that he would prefer not to travel because recovering from the surgery would require someone to accompany him, and he doesnt want to create extra stress for his wife, especially with childcare. If possible, he wants to have the operation close to home.
In the meantime, a huge GoFundMe has already been launched to help out Ridge Holland with his medical expenses. Nonetheless, Ridge Hollands situation shows how demanding and physically damaging professional wrestling can be.
Holland is now prioritizing his health and his family. As he considers spinal fusion surgery, he is taking careful steps to make sure he makes the best decision for his long-term well-being. So, fans are hoping for the best and he eventually gets the surgery he needs.
