Ridge Hollands time with WWE is officially overand now its website official.
On November 6, 2025, WWE quietly moved the injured star to the Alumni section of their official roster page, confirming his early termination from the company just days ahead of his contracts original expiration date.
Holland, real name Luke Menzies, had already revealed he was dealing with financial hardship after suffering a serious neck injury during a TNA appearance on behalf of WWE. At the time, he claimed he was not being paid during his recovery, despite the injury happening while on WWE-assigned duty. Fans were still holding out hope WWE might support him through the rest of his rehabbut the roster update puts any speculation to rest.
Hollands deal was originally set to run through November 14, but sources indicated that WWE decided to cut ties early, allegedly in response to public posts they considered a breach of contract. The move ends what had been a four-year run with the company and puts the 37-year-old former rugby league player in a difficult positionwith recovery time still expected to run into 2026.
Back in October, Holland spoke openly about his financial situation, saying the injury left him unable to keep up with basic expenses.
He also revealed that his appearance in TNA, where the injury occurred, came without any additional compensation.
While WWE is still covering rehab costs, the early termination means Holland will not receive any further salary from the companydespite being medically unfit to wrestle for months to come. Its an increasingly rare step by WWE, which has typically avoided cutting injured talent in the middle of their recoveries.
With this roster page update, WWE has made the release officialand fans now know Hollands time in the company is done.
