Fresh off his lightning-fast 15-second KO victory at DBX, Steveson confirmed that UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard was in attendance and that they spoke right after the fight. While fans are ready to see the Olympic gold medalist in the Octagon ASAP, Steveson says hes staying patient. He broke it down during an interview with Ariel Helwani, explaining the moment UFC interest became very real.
Steveson didnt play coy when asked if a contract offer was on the tablebut he stopped short of confirming anything concrete.
