Brian Cage is facing another major setback in his return to the ringand this time, its his third knee surgery in less than a year.
The AEW and ROH star took to Instagram to reveal that he recently attempted to get medically cleared during WrestleDream weekend, but doctors discovered a serious issue with his right knee. Cage said the problem had been bothering him since his last procedure, and now it turns out the implant in his knee might not have fused with the bone like it was supposed to.
The Machine didnt sugarcoat how hard the news hit him. After months of grueling rehab and personal investment, hearing that hell need another operation crushed his momentum.
Cage also admitted that his return to the ring is now completely up in the air, depending on how the surgery goes. For now, hes focusing on staying mentally strong, but even he admits the emotional toll is mounting.
