Novak Djokovic's legendary consistency continues to stretch the limits of tennis history. The president of the Italian Tennis Federation, Angelo Binaghi, has confirmed that the 24-time Major winner will compete at next week's ATP Finals in Turin.

The Serb has yet to make his decision about the premium ATP event, although he stated that he wants to compete in the final weeks of the season in Athens and Turin.

The 38-year-old will chase his second ATP title of the season in Athens this week, facing Alejandro Tabilo in the second round. If his body endures the efforts, we should see the seven-time ATP Finals champion in action next week.

Debuting at the ATP Finals in 2007, Djokovic has qualified for the elite event for the 18th time this year, matching Roger Federer and confirming his incredible longevity and consistency at the top.

Novak's feat proves once again that dominance has no expiration date. Despite his reduced schedule, the Belgrade native has been the fourth-strongest player of the season behind Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.

Djokovic has played in the semi-final at all four Major events this season. He also fought for the Miami Open title and became the oldest Masters 1000 semi-finalist a couple of weeks ago in Shanghai.

In May, Novak lifted his 100th ATP title in Geneva, becoming the third player in the Open era to achieve that. The Serb will try to wrap up the season on a high note in Athens and Turin.

He missed last year's ATP Finals after clinching the record-breaking seventh title in 2023 over Jannik Sinner. He has qualified for the premium ATP event in every year between 2007 and 2025, except 2007, when injury forced him out.

With seven trophies between 2008 and 2023, he is the most successful player in the tournament's history. Djokovic has been struggling physically in his most recent tournaments in Shanghai and Riyadh.

However, Binaghi's confirmation brings renewed excitement to Turin, with many fans waiting to see the most decorated player of all time in action.
