Taylor Fritz is considered by many to be one of the players with the best chance of competing with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner for the most important titles on the calendar, having all the skills necessary to make a difference on the fastest surfaces and having improved even on the slowest courts.
Some pundits and insiders thought he was destined to win a Grand Slam title as early as this season, especially after the improvements made in the latter part of last year with the final reached at the US Open thanks to a truly thrilling run.
The current world number 4 has had a 2025 full of ups and downs also due to some injuries, but he has still maintained his place in the Top 5 of the ATP rankings and feels that he has not reached his 'prime' yet.

At 27, the American star can still improve in all respects and his first goal is to end this year in the brightest way possible. His run at the Paris Masters 1000 ended against a deluxe version of Alexander Bublik, which is why he will have more days than expected to prepare for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
Fritz must necessarily achieve a brilliant result at the Inalpi Arena, having reached the final there in the last edition after beating Alexander Zverev in the semifinals. Only Jannik Sinner had prevented him from lifting the trophy and Taylor is aiming to at least replicate his 2024 path.
During a recent interview with 'Dexerto', Fritz was asked to pick the most special moment of his career so far: Id say the proudest moment of my career is probably winning Indian Wells in 2022 for sure. I think making US Open final is obviously a really big achievement. Maybe even bigger, but its just ending the tournament with a win just feels, you know, it feels a lot more satisfying.

He continued: You know, luckily for me, I got to play Roger, Rafa, Novak. Like, so I got to play a lot of the guys in my generation, but yeah, Id say maybeAgassior Sampras. Theyre just like US legends, I guess.
