AEW star Will Ospreay has been slowly working his way back from neck surgery, and now fans finally have a better idea of when he could return to the ring.
On November 1, 2025, Saminder Singh of the Body Alignment Clinic in Rainham, Essex posted an update on Ospreays progress, giving fans a look at his recovery timeline and overall condition. Singh revealed that Ospreay is six weeks post-operation and making solid progress, while also dropping a possible comeback window.
This update marks the first major sign of when Ospreay might be ready to step back into action. His last match took place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August, where he competed in a brutal Lights Out Steel Cage match before being attacked by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd. The vicious post-match assault saw Ospreay stretchered out of the arena after The Death Riders stomped a chair around his neck.
Ospreay later confirmed in September that he underwent successful neck surgery and assured fans that hes determined to make a full comeback.
The former AEW International Champion has already admitted he might need to tone down his high-flying style once he returns, marking a potential turning point in his career. But with a January 2026 return now on the horizon, fans are counting the days until one of wrestlings most explosive performers makes his comeback.
