When you're a top tennis player, it's only natural to be compared to the greatest in the sport, including those at the top of the ATP rankings. Alexander Bublik experienced this firsthand after his match with Taylor Fritz.
A Tennis Channel reporter compared Bublik to Carlos Alcaraz, saying they have similar shots. The Kazakh tennis player had a quite interesting response.
Bublik stressed that he has a lot of respect for the Spaniard, but that he's better at choosing his shots.

The 28-year-old showed that there is no insurmountable obstacle for him, being dominant in his match against Taylor Fritz, a player who has really done great things this season.
Alexander stresses that he and Fritz are in completely different situations.
The American is going to Turin, while Alexander is fighting to be an alternate.
All of these factors are the reason Taylor is playing much more relaxed and without a huge dose of pressure. Bublik feels that if Taylor had the pressure and the imperative to win, it would really be different, just like in their last three duels, where Fritz won.
