WWE Evolve star Aria Bennett is taking a stand against racism after revealing the vile messages shes received onlineshining a spotlight on the type of hate that no one should ever have to endure.
Currently sidelined with an ACL injury, Bennett is still recovering from surgery, but that hasnt stopped the hate from flooding her inbox. Instead of staying silent, she took to Twitter and shared screenshots of disturbing messages, including one that used the N-word with a hard r and another that disgustingly read she was almost cute enough to be white. Bennett didnt hold back in expressing her disappointment, saying this kind of behavior is something she and others have had to deal with far too often.
Her decision to go public with the abuse shows both courage and a refusal to normalize the racism that many pretend doesnt exist in the wrestling worldor anywhere else. Even during her time off the road, Bennett is fighting battles few fans see, and shes doing it with strength and grace.
