UFC fighter Michael Chandler could be the next big name to make the jump from the Octagon to the WWE ring.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Chandler opened up about his interest in pursuing a pro wrestling career once his fighting days are over and he sounds genuinely ready to take that leap. The former Bellator and UFC standout said that professional wrestling feels like a natural fit for him, given his passion for combat sports and performance.
Chandler, who turns 40 next year, made it clear that age wont stop him from chasing a new challenge. He explained that his conditioning and commitment to taking care of his body have allowed him to stay at the top of his game when many of his peers have slowed down.
Still, Chandler said if he ever transitions to WWE, he knows it wont come easy. He understands hell have to earn the companys trust and prove he can handle the grind that comes with life on the road.
Chandler isnt exactly a stranger to WWE either. He previously appeared on Monday Night Raw in 2024, where he called out Conor McGregor in a moment that got fans talking. Now that WWE and UFC are both under the TKO umbrella, the chances of seeing Chandler inside a WWE ring are higher than ever.
Even if he never laces up wrestling boots full-time, Michael Chandlers charisma, promo skills, and fight-ready presence make him a natural fit for sports entertainment.
