TNA Wrestling has a roster full of stars, but they dont have everyone secured in a long-term deal. This even applies to their current champions, because Steve Maclins time in the company may be limited unless they ink a new deal.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that TNA International Champion Steve Maclins contract will expire at the end of 2025. He signed a one-year extension after his previous deal ended last year.
The timing of this is interesting. Steve Maclin defeated Frankie Kazarian at TNA Bound For Glory to win back the TNA International Title. He is also a former TNA World Champion and has been with the company for more than four years following a seven-year run with WWE.
As you know, Steve Maclin had a run as part of the Forgotten Sons in NXT, and they were also called up to the main roster. Sadly, that didnt pan out as controversy soon erupted as his stable mate Jaxson Ryker popped off on social media with some posts that ruffled a few feathers. The stable disappeared after that, and they were all eventually released.
We will keep a close eye out for any updates on Steve Maclins situation. He certainly has a ton of ability, but the time may be ticking away on his time with TNA Wrestling. Hopefully, they can figure something out for him.
