Jannik Sinner clinched his second Vienna Open title. The top seed faced the 2nd, Alexander Zverev, in the title clash and prevailed 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 in two hours and 28 minutes for his 24th ATP title and the fourth of the season.

It was their eighth duel and the fourth victory for the Italian. We saw only three breaks, and the favorite secured a late one in the closing stages of the duel to provide his 21st consecutive indoor victory.

He landed a backhand winner on a set point to wrap up the first part of the duel in 46 minutes. Jannik served well in sets two and three and kept the pressure on his opponent.

The 2023 champion barely lost a couple of points in his games in the second set, mounting the pressure on the other side. Zverev missed a game point in the second game and suffered a break after Sinner's backhand winner.

The Italian held at love a few minutes later for 3-0 and kept everything under control. World no. 2 served for the set at 5-3 and landed an ace, introducing a decider after an hour and a half and gaining a boost.

Jannik survived a deuce in the second game and served well in the remaining games. The German denied two break points in the fifth game and remained in contention. They served well in the upcoming games and reached 5-5.

Alexander missed a routine volley on a game point in game 11. Sinner painted a backhand down the line winner for a break point and seized it after the rival's backhand mistake to create the crucial advantage.

Jannik served for the title at 6-5 and held at love with a service winner to lift a trophy and claim his fourth ATP title of the season.
