WWE isnt done teasing fans just yet. Less than 12 hours after dropping a mysterious vignette of a suited mans shoes walking, the company released a second teaser on Sunday eveningonce again showing nothing but a pair of dress shoes stepping in slow, deliberate motion.
The new clip mirrors the original teaser that first set fans off, but the fact that WWE followed up with another one so quickly has the wrestling world convinced something big is brewing. Many are doubling down on the theory that this is all leading to GUNTHERs long-awaited return and his rumored clash with John Cena at Saturday Nights Main Event on December 13th.
The first video already had fans dissecting every frame, especially after one viewer caught a faint sample of WWEs Saturday Nights Main Event theme, Obsession, playing quietly in the backgrounda major hint linking the teaser to Cenas final match. Now, this second clip is adding fuel to the fire.
GUNTHER hasnt been seen since his SummerSlam 2025 loss to CM Punk, and with the Ring General off television ever since, the timing of these vignettes feels deliberate. WWEs slow, cryptic rollout may be pointing toward one of the biggest returns of the year.
No other details were included with the latest video, but WWE clearly wants fans guessingand talking. If this is GUNTHERs way back into the spotlight, the company might be setting the stage for one of its most anticipated showdowns yet.
