The next Premium Live Event for WWEs NXT brand is officially locked in. Deadline is set for December 6 and will take place at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
NXT Deadline will once again feature both the mens and womens Iron Survivor Challenge matches, bringing back the unique and intense format that made its debut a standout on the calendar. The Iron Survivor Challenge is a 25-minute match featuring five wrestlers. Two superstars start the bout, with the remaining three entering at timed intervals. Points are scored via pinfall, submission, or disqualification, while anyone who gets scored on must spend 90 seconds in the penalty box. The wrestler with the most points at the end of 25 minutes is declared the winner.
In 2024, Oba Femi and Giulia walked away victorious in their respective Iron Survivor matches, launching themselves into title contention in NXT.
Deadline has grown into one of the NXT brands most unpredictable nights of the year, with the Iron Survivor format often setting the tone for future title pictures.
