
WCW legend Halloween, best known to U.S. fans as Ciclope, has revealed that his scheduled knee operation had to be postponed after he nearly suffered a heart attack. The luchador shared an emotional message with fans, explaining the health scare and thanking those whove continued to support him through the ordeal.
In a video posted to Instagram, Halloween said he wanted to personally thank everyone who reached out with messages and well wishes. He explained that doctors were unable to move forward with his surgery after discovering serious heart and blood pressure issues.
He said his blood pressure levels reached dangerously high numbers150 over 130which forced doctors to stop the operation mid-process. Instead, they made adjustments to his knee brace and postponed the surgery for a later date.
Halloween also addressed critics online who accused him of misusing donations that fans had sent to help with his medical costs. He made it clear he was grateful for every bit of support but wanted to defend himself against what he called baseless attacks.
The veteran closed his message with a statement, showing he still has the same fighting spirit that made him a staple of lucha libre in Mexico and a recognizable name in WCW.
Halloween began his career in 1992 and last wrestled in July 2025. His message shows both his resilience and his deep appreciation for the wrestling community that continues to support him through his recovery.
