WWE has needed to make a lot of tough decisions over the years. Tonight on RAW, Adam Pearce had to strip Seth Rollins of his title.
WWE Raw went down on October 20, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The opening of the show really picked up from last week.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was in the ring to kick off the show, but then he was interrupted by The Vision showing up backstage. Bron Breakker had Seth Rollins WWE World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder as the trio of Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring.
Adam Pearce said he knew that Seth Rollins was banged up, but nobody will know how badly he was really injured because of that beatdown. Now, Seth Rollins is at home after having major surgery, and he will be out of action for a while.
Then Pearce announced that, as of right now, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is now vacated. Then Pearce said we will crown a new champion in Salt Lake City at Saturday Nights Main Event on November 1. CM Punk will take on the winner of an over the top rope battle royal in that match.
Although Bron Breakker didnt want to give up the title, Adam Pearce was finally able to get it off his shoulder. Then he left with the title as Paul Heyman cut a promo for his clients.
The October 13 episode of WWE RAW ended with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turning on Seth Rollins. After CM Punk won a triple threat match against Jey Uso and LA Knight to become the new #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Rollins faction, The Vision, entered the ring.
After the match ended, Bron Breakker speared Seth Rollins. He then spoke to Reed, who pulled Punk into position and hit a Tsunami. Breakker picked up the World Heavyweight Title, and Paul Heyman entered the ring and raised the arms of Breakker and Reed.
It was then reported that Seth Rollins was injured. That called for him to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
