It is no secret that Jannik Sinner has had his consecration at the highest level in the last two years, in which he has improved from all points of view to become the new world number 1. The Italian ace held the scepter of the ATP tour until the end of this summer, when he was defeated by his main rival Carlos Alcaraz in the US Open final and had to give up the leadership in the hands of the Spanish champion.
The Italian and the Spaniard have taken men's tennis to another dimension and it is no coincidence that they always face each other in the most important finals, leaving very little to opponents who seem to have surrendered to the idea that these two players are destined to dominate at least in the next decade.
Jannik and Carlitos will compete for the top position in the ATP rankings until the end of this season, but the 22-year-old from Murcia is clearly favored to reach this milestone after the premature elimination of the 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria at the Shanghai Masters 1000 (due to cramps).

Tabiloon facingSinner
The four-time Grand Slam champion has always played his best tennis in this part of the season, because the tournaments on the indoor hard courts enhance his game making him more dangerous than usual.
During a recent interview with 'Tennis Vibes', Chilean player Alejandro Tabilo explained what impressed him most about Sinner when he faced him last year: Sinner didnt surprise me with his ball speed in absolute terms, but for another aspect: its normal that he has a higher average pace than everyone else, but its phenomenal how he maintains it both throughout the match and when moving away from the centre.
He also added: I remember trying to make him move, and I was getting blasted with shots even when he was at the sides of the court; for him, it makes no difference, and in this, hes incredible.
