AEW star Rush may have suffered a real injury during the October 15 Dynamite and Collision joint taping in Kansas City, Missouriand the moment didnt go unnoticed.

The LFI leader was competing in an AEW World Trios Championship match alongside Dralstico and The Beast Mortos against The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) when things took a painful turn.

According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, the injury occurred late in the match as Rush tried to re-enter the ring. Apparently the spot that resulted in the longtime pro wrestling veteran and AEW star suffering the dislocated elbow took place when Rush was re-entering the ring for the final sequence.

Rushs kneepad snagged on the bottom rope, causing him to stumble and fall awkwardly, resulting in a dislocated elbow. Cameras caught him clutching his left arm and rolling out of the ring in visible pain.

Shibata, who was supposed to brawl with him outside, instead helped steady Rush while AEW officials checked on the injury. Despite the scare, Rush reportedly managed to pop the elbow back into place himself.

Shockingly, Rush still participated in the post-match angle, which saw The Opps get ambushedspecifically Samoa Joeleading to AEW World Champion Hangman Page leaving commentary to make the save and protect his opponent for AEW WrestleDream 2025 this weekend.

Despite the injury, Rush is still booked to wrestle in Mexico this Thursday in a multi-man match with LA Park and his sons. Ringside News will keep you informed if that match is pulled.

Do you think Rush should still wrestle in Mexico so soon after dislocating his elbow, or should he take time off to heal? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
