Nick Kyrgios has made a very strong claim as the Australian claims the ATP is "protecting" Jannik Sinner, while also revealing that he is no longer on good terms with certain players after heavily criticizing the current world No. 2's doping scandal.

The moment that Sinner's doping case came to light in 2024 August, Kyrgios instantly became one of the harshest critics, arguing that the Italian deserved to be suspended. Also, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist insinuated numerous times that the four-time Grand Slam champion was not initially suspended by the ITIA because of his status in the game. At the time, the Australian was also regularly calling out the ATP and the ITIA.

After the WADA appealed the ITIA's decision in Sinner's case. Kyrgios laughed and celebrated on social media. In the end, he was happy that the Italian received at least a three-month doping suspension.

Sinner's suspension may have been served and his case may be well over, but the Australian still has something more to say about it.

Kyrgios: The ATP is protecting Sinner... The whole story is BS

Im loved by a lot of the locker room and then there are people I cant stand. Like obviously me and Jannik Sinner now, its pretty grim. Obviously, after the whole doping scandal with him testing positive and all that type of stuff, yeah there are a couple of people I dont get along with at all" the seven-time ATP champion said on UNSCRIPTED by Josh Mansour.

Hes the number one player in the world [when he tested positive] and theres no doubt hes an incredible player and hes going to be carrying the sport for the next 10 to 15 years with Alcaraz. I mean obviously theyre protecting him to some degree. I mean the CEO and all of the important people in the ATP are all Italian. And like the whole story for me is BS."

For the record, ATP CEO is Andrea Gaudenzi, a former Italian tennis player.

When it comes to Sinner, he has refused to engage with Kyrgios in any kind of discussions.
