WWEs creative direction heading into Survivor Series may have just been thrown into chaos and it appears Seth Rollins injury is a major reason why.
After his brutal Crown Jewel match, Rollins was seen in Perth with his arm in a sling. While WWE has yet to officially confirm a medical update, sourace believe the injury forced a sharp turn in planning. Rollins still appeared on RAW but was attacked by his own stable, The Vision, in a shocking twist featuring Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. But behind the curtain, things may have been shifting even more dramatically.
According to Fightful Select, WWE has recently backed away from previously reported plans for War Games the traditional Survivor Series showdown.
That strongly suggests WWE may have abandoned its original trajectory in favor of something that can work around Rollins potential absence or at least tone down his physical involvement. While the War Games format typically demands intense action, that may no longer be realistic with Rollins potentially injured.
If Rollins is medically sidelined or limited in any way, expect Survivor Series to continue evolving in real time.
