Jasmine Paolini claims Jannik Sinner noticed her game was missing one thing and explained what it was and why she needed to start doing it on the court.

For the past two years, Sinner has been the face of Italian men's tennis while Paolini has been the face of her country's women's tennis.

In 2023 and 2024, Sinner led Italy to back-to-back Davis Cup titles. During last year's Davis Cup, Renzo Furlan - who worked with Paolini for 10 years before they split earlier this year - was present. And that's when he was approached by the second-ranked ATP star.

Paolini: Sinner told my coach I wasn't doing something on the court... I listened to his advice

At the Davis Cup finals last year, my ex-coach Renzo (Furlan) was speaking with Jannik and I was surprised because he said I wasnt doing something on the court. I cant say what it is because my opponents will know then! My coach came to me and said: Jannik has said you need to do this.' I mean, when Jannik tells you to do something, you just have to do it. How can you say no to Janniks advice? the eighth-ranked WTA player told Tennis365.

Since 2024, Paolini has made two Grand Slam finals - won two WTA 1000 titles and back-to-back Billie Jean King Cup titles with Italy - and also achieved a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world.

On the other side, Sinner's success over the last two years is well-documented as he has won four Grand Slams and has spent a good amount of time ranked at No. 1 in the world.

He is doing unbelievable things on the court and I think people like how he is behaving on and off the court because he is a really nice guy, Paolini said of Sinner.
