Karrion Kross and Scarlett are officially free agentsand while theyre enjoying the freedom of the indie scene, theyre not ruling out a future with AEW.
Scarlett recently sat down with Insight with Chris Van Vliet and explained why theyre being careful about their next move after exiting WWE. Scarlett confirmed that AEW was on the table before they re-signed with WWE in 2022, but at the time, the creative didnt line up.
Now that theyre back on the market, its not about chasing the biggest offerits about finding the right fit. Kross made it clear that creative direction matters more than any paycheck.
Scarlett echoed that sentiment, saying any major move like signing with AEW would be treated like a serious, long-term commitment.
For now, Kross is relishing the freedom that comes with working the indie sceneand the unpredictability that comes with it.
Their WWE contracts expired in September 2025, and theyve since made appearances for several independent promotions. But wherever they go next, theyre treating it like more than just a jobits got to feel like home.
