The change in Nielsen ratings has already started affecting pro wrestling ratings in a big way. The October 1st edition of Dynamite saw a huge decrease in ratings under the new system and now Tony Khans reaction to the new system has been revealed.

According to Fightful Select, a source within AEW said that Tony Khan is fully aware of the recent Nielsen TV ratings measurement changes and understands exactly how they work and what they mean for the company.

The source also noted that AEWs viewership numbers from Max streaming for Collision and Dynamite are not publicly reported, and the actual streaming figures are kept very private.

The October 1st episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 465,000 viewers, representing a 16.1% drop compared to the 554,000 viewers on September 24.So its clear this will become the norm soon enough.
