Andrade is clearly building momentum after his WWE release already, as the Mexican star has already won a title in his first match following his WWE departure.
At The Crash Lucha Libres event on October 3rd at the Municipal Auditorium Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Andrade squared off against DMT Azul for The Crash Heavyweight Championship.
It was a solid match from start to finish, as both competitors gave it their all to pick up the win. In the end, Andrade would defeat DMT Azul and thus he became the new Crash Heavyweight Champion and ended Azuls almost 900-day reign. This marked Andrades first match since his WWE exit and first singles title in a while as well.
Things are clearly going well for Andrade as he already made his return to AEW earlier this week by attacking Kenny Omega. There was also a very good reason AEW brought back Andrade, since they wanted another Hispanic star to build the company up in Mexico.
Judging by his momentum, its clear that Andrade looks ready to prove himself again as one of the most talented and respected wrestlers in the world. So well have to see if hell truly reinvent himself this time.
What do you think about Andrades immediate success after leaving WWE?
Was his quick championship win the right move, or should he have built momentum more gradually? Sound off in the comments.
