TNA Wrestling is closer than ever to landing the major TV rights deal that could completely shift its future.

The company has been chasing a $10 million-per-year media agreement, and now, Anthem Sports Group President Carlos Silva says theyre in the final stages of making it happen. Speaking on the Battleground Podcast on October 2, Silva didnt hold back on where things stand.

Negotiations arent just theoretical anymore theyre real, detailed, and happening in real time.

The delay isnt due to a lack of momentum. Its about hammering out the finer points and formalities.

The planned deal would allow TNA Impact! to go live 52 weeks a year, a huge leap from its current production format. And that kind of shift, Silva believes, is key to survival in todays wrestling landscape.

Silva thinks a bigger platform would open the door to exponentially higher ratings. TNA currently pulls around 100,000 viewers when it airs live but Silva sees more on the horizon.

And its not just about the numbers its about the timeline. Silva confirmed the deal must close this year.

This all lines up with Silvas previous comments to JohnWallStreet.com, where he revealed theyre in talks with both established linear guys and a couple of newer platforms that need a foundational [programming] centerpiece. TNAs rising partnership with WWE has only helped the cause. With Jordynne Grace crossing into NXT, Joe Hendry showing up at WWE events, and constant TNA references on WWE programming, the companys visibility has skyrocketed.

And that attention has fueled even bigger rumors including speculation that WWE could eventually acquire TNA outright. For now, all eyes are on Silva and Anthem to deliver the deal that could finally take TNA mainstream.
